We source single-origin A5 Wagyu tallow from Miyazaki, Japan. Its skin-compatible fatty-acid profile cushions the moisture barrier and helps reduce water loss for softer, calmer skin.

How do you refine the tallow and remove any beef smell?

We use a three-week, low-heat process with cycles of freezing and gentle rinsing with purified water—no high-heat deodorization or harsh solvents—so the result is clean, neutral tallow.

Are your supporting ingredients 100% certified organic?

Yes. We pair our tallow with certified-organic beeswax, shea butter, jojoba oil, vitamin E, and, when a scent is desired, organic essential oils. Unscented options contain no added fragrance or essential oils.

Do your formulas include synthetic fragrance, parabens, or microplastics?

No. Our products are free from synthetic fragrance, parabens, silicones, dyes, and microplastics. We keep ingredient lists short and purposeful.

What UV filter do your mineral sunscreens use?

We use non-nano, uncoated zinc oxide as the sole mineral filter and pair it with tallow’s skin-compatible lipids for a comfortable, satin finish. Please refer to each product’s label for SPF testing details.

Do you make products in small batches and store them cold?

Yes. We produce in small batches for freshness and store materials and finished goods in cooled conditions, handling everything with the same care as our omakase kitchen.
